- Practices (Monday thru Thursday—2:40 to 4:30 pm; Fridays, usually 12:40 -2:30 pm). Players have to get in 10 practices before being allowed to play in a match. Coaches have the prerogative to not allow players to play in match for missing practice, matches or not staying for the entire home match (work, vacations, “homework,” college visits, other sports conflicts, etc. More detailed information will be posted soon on the tennis website.
- Matches: Bus leaves from the main campus, usually about 2:40 pm (Parents drive players back home from away matches) Players are required to stay for the entire home match until everyone is done playing. On away matches, it is recommended that players stay for the whole match, but it is understood that because of our one-way bus situation, players often have to leave in order to catch a ride with another player to Fall City, the Ridge, etc.
- Everyone plays in a match: Varsity – four singles, three doubles and usually one doubles exhibition (two out of three sets except for exhibition); JV – four singles, three doubles, and the remaining players usually all play exhibition doubles. All JV players play a pro set (one long set up to eight games). Often some players might play an extra pro set depending on the number of opponent players.
